What to expect
Visit the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial and enjoy the stunning views from the Valley of Cuelgamuros, all accompanied by an expert guide.
You'll drive for approximately one hour to San Lorenzo de El Escorial to visit the inside of the Monastery, built in the sixteenth century under the command of Felipe II.
Next, after about ten minutes by bus, you'll reach Valle de Cuelgamuros, where you'll appreciate the colossal cross over 150 meters high, the Basilica and Crypt excavated in the rock of the mountain.
Enjoy spectacular views of Madrid’s mountain range before returning to Madrid.
