Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza is a must-see in Madrid. It is one of the most relevant museums in the city, country and world! Its impressive art collection mesmerizes many, due to its catalog of about 1,000 works on display, ranging from ancient paintings of the 13th century to the avant-garde of the 20th century. The collection includes great artists such as Titian, Rubens, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Manet, Renoir, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Kandinsky, Hopper, and Picasso. Besides this, the museum schedules important temporary exhibitions that play a major role within the cultural agenda of the city. It also offers many activities for all audiences, especially for young people: concerts, cinema, workshops, and conferences. Lastly, the Museum Shop, with independent access, is an elegant space with exclusive items inspired by works of art, created by well-known artists, designers and local artisans.

- Free entry to the Permanent Collections on Mondays between 12.00pm and 4.00pm
- Free entrance for all visitors on Mondays
- Free entrance on Saturdays from 21.00 to 23.00
- Free entrance on 18 May, the International Museum Day and 12 October, National Holiday
- This ticket is valid to visit the Permanent Collection, the Carmen Thyssen Collection and temporary collections, such as: Colonial Memory in the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collections (from 25 June to 20 October 2024), Tabita Rezaire. Calabash Nebula (from 8 October to 12 January 2025), Peter Halley in Spain (from 19 October 2024 to 19 January 2025)
- The museum has audio guides available for the permanent collections, thematic tours, and temporary exhibitions. Audio guides provide information on the most important works and are available in Spanish, English, German, French and Italian for the general tour of Masterpieces and in Spanish and English for thematic tours and temporary exhibitions
- These tickets are non-refundable. Changes are allowed but no cancellations
- Proof of status needs to be shown when acquiring the reduced ticket at the point of entry on the day of the visit
- Entrance for the ground floor exhibition is subject to availability
- Please note that the ticket also includes access to the following temporary exhibitions: Tabita Rezaire. Calabash Nebula (from 8 October to 12 January 2025) and Peter Halley in Spain (from 19 October 2024 to 19 January 2025)
