The Dueñas Palace of Seville is a building built between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Its style ranges from Gothic-Mudejar to Renaissance. It is owned by the House of Alba, and one of the main buildings of the city, both for its architectural, artistic, historical.
In this place, the famous Sevillian poet Antonio Machado was born in 1875. He also lived and married on the small altar of the house, the Duchess of Alba with Alfonso Díez Carabantes.
The Palace of Dueñas is composed of a set of buildings and gardens that isolate the city. It contains samples and Sevillian details that can be seen in its bricks, tiles and ceramics, as well as having the typical Sevillian structure with an Andalusian yard.
Inside the building you can see the different rooms of the house, which will be of great interest. On the one hand, the furniture, photographs and personal objects that reflect the personality and customs of the family. On the other hand, an important artistic and decorative collection of works of art, furniture, ceramics and other antique objects.
