What to expect
Explore the frozen lakes around Stockholm. Upon arrival at the first lake, early in the morning, excitement takes over as you step onto the ice. The first moves may feel a bit strange but soon you will be skating over stunning frozen lakes.
This tour is for advanced skaters, with a focus on covering more distance and improving techniques. Your guide will bring you to skate on Mälaren or another large lake. If you are lucky and the conditions right, you might even get to skate on the Baltic Sea!
Your guide will prepare you a tasty campfire lunch halfway through the tour. After the break, you will continue your adventure by heading back to the starting point.
Important to know
- A minimum age of 16 is required to take place on this tour
- Remember to wear warm and comfortable (sports) clothing, a hat and gloves on the day of the tour
- This tour involves active physical motion and being in healthy shape is therefore required
- This is the advanced version of the ice skating tour, experience in any skating style (ice / roller blade / inline) is required
- You will be ice skating on natural ice and if the ice skating can't be conducted safely, the local operator holds the rights to carry out an alternative program instead
