Driving north of Hua Hin, we'll soon reach the railway market – Talad Rom Hoop – part of the Maeklong market. Here, the stalls that shut shop as soon as they hear the trains approaching. It's a real spectacle. And when they pass, it's back to business as usual. Then it's over to Amphawa Floating Market for a glimpse of traditional Thai lifestyle.
Walk along the old wooden houses and, if you'd like, hop on a boat to get in among the action. You'll find all kinds of luscious food and delicacies on sale here. After dinner at a riverside restaurant, your evening's entertainment awaits. You'll get to watch thousands of fireflies lighting up the sky from a boat, setting the scene for a romantic evening.
