Rise and shine early in the morning for your hotel pick-up where after around a three-hour drive you'll reach Baan Nam Kem pier in Phang Nga. Upon arrival at the pier, you'll be warmly welcomed by the team for check-in. Get ready for an exciting day by picking up your snorkel gear. Before departure, feel free to indulge in some hot beverages and light breakfast snacks.
Next, you'll embark on a thrilling speedboat ride to the Surin Islands. Known as Mu Koh Surin National Park, this beautiful archipelago consists of five islands nestled in the Andaman Sea. Your adventure begins with a snorkelling stop at Chong Kad Channel before visiting Moken village. Here, you can observe the local sea gypsy community's way of life on these islands. Savour a scrumptious lunch buffet at the national park restaurant, offering a wide variety of food, beverages and seasonal fruits. Once you've had your fill, unwind on the beautiful Mai Gnam Beach. Depending on sea conditions, your second snorkelling stop will be at either Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay. Your third snorkel experience awaits at Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay, where you can admire the beautiful fish and corals.
After a day filled with adventure, you'll depart from Surin Islands back to the pier. Upon arrival back at Baan Nam Kem, round off your tour with a selection of drinks and snacks. Treat yourself to a tasty papaya salad, fried chicken and ice cream before heading back to Phuket. Finally, you'll be dropped off at your hotel by a shared minivan.
Keep in mind that the transfer time between Phuket and the speedboat pier is about 3 hours one-way. Bring some snacks or breakfast in case you get hungry in the morning.
Surin Islands are located remotely and will take 1.5 hour one-way to reach it by speedboat. The Andaman sea is a rough sea with usually big waves and it might be a bumpy speedboat ride. Ask our staff for a pill for seasickness if you have a sensitive stomach.
