What to expect

During this experience, you'll be led by an expert local guide. You'll start at Belfast's iconic City Hall, you'll stroll around the city, admiring its beautiful architecture, stunning street art, and you'll dive into its unique history.

You'll learn Belfast's history and heritage. Everyone has heard of the Titanic and the Troubles, and during this tour, you'll dive deeper into the topics, but remember there's so much more to discover! Belfast first got its name over 1,300 years ago, you'll get to know more about historic buildings and landmarks such as St. Anne's Cathedral, Kelly's Cellars, the Albert Clock, the Beacon of Hope and the Salmon of Knowledge. You'll hear local legends, and contemporary social history, and you'll understand why Belfast is still such a unique city today.

The tour will also take you through the cultural hub of the Cathedral Quarter. You'll stroll beside the waterfront with views of the river Lagan and over to the iconic yellow cranes, Samson and Goliath, in the Harland and Wolff shipyard where the Titanic was built over 100 years ago. And then you'll explore the historic Entries at the heart of the city center and see how they have now been turned into an outdoor art gallery. At the end, you'll finish the tour at the Titanic Memorial back at City Hall. If you like walking, and history, this is the tour for you.
