Your first experience of Westminster Abbey is the 14th-century medieval undercroft. Originally used by the Benedictine monks to store food and drink, the Cellarium is now a unique restaurant where you enjoy complimentary coffee/tea and pastries.
Next you'll enter the Abbey through the cloisters. The cloister entrance offers priority access and aims to avoid the queues at the north door, main entrance for visitors.
Westminster Abbey presents a unique pageant of British history – the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great. You will hear about the most recent coronation of Charles III that took place on the 6th of May 2023, the marriage of William and Kate, and also stop briefly to celebrate the life of the late Queen Elizabeth II whose state funeral also took place at the Abbey.
If you wish, after the tour you can take a flight over the London Eye (Optional). The representative will take you on a short walk passing the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben before helping you avoid the queues at the London Eye with your fast-track ticket. Standing at an amazing 135 meters above the center of London, the London Eye is the world’s highest observation wheel and offers magnificent panoramic views of London.
