To start, you first have the freedom to decide a day from Monday until Saturday to see the Unto These Hills play, and Tuesday until Saturday to explore the Oconaluftee Indian Village. Once you arrive, you'll admire being surrounded by green vegetation and hear the sound of the flow of the mountain streams. On your village day, you'll witness craft demonstrations by award-winning artists who will explain the unique Cherokee crafting techniques and explore the living history section to learn about Cherokee traditions and daily life.
Discover one of America’s most powerful dramas which rewrites the Cherokee’s place in the world with the live open-air drama Unto these Hills. The play begins with Hernando DeSoto’s arrival in 1540, leading to the discovery of gold in 1835 and the influx of land agents enforcing Manifest Destiny. Witness the poignant story of Tsali and his family as they face the divisions and challenges of this era. The play concludes with a moving portrayal of the Cherokee people's resilience, symbolizing their spiritual strength, social complexity, and unbreakable courage.

- You have the choice to select either ticket category VIP, Gold, or General admission. Gold and category VIP means you will be seated closer to the stage
- The Gold Package includes admission to the Oconaluftee Indian Village and a gold area ticket for Unto These Hills
- The Silver Package includes admission to the Oconaluftee Indian Village and a General admission seat at Unto These Hills
- Ticket category VIP includes admission to the Oconaluftee Indian Village and for Unto These Hills a separate entrance from general admission, backstage tour, souvenir tote bag with popcorn and a bottle of water
- Due to uneven and steep surfaces, the backstage tour included in the VIP entrance ticket is unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties or wheelchair users
