Meet your local guide at Boston’s Independence Wharf, where the viewing deck offers you spectacular city views. Your guide will highlight Fort Point and the Seaport District, as well as the site of a pivotal moment in pre-Revolution American history – the Boston Tea Party. Take a stroll around to catch an impressive view of the Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum.
From there, you'll proceed to the Harborwalk, a pathway connecting waterfront neighbourhoods to the iconic Boston Harbour. You'll pass by Long Wharf, Boston's primary port for nearly two centuries, where all goods entered the city.
Your guide will introduce you to some of their favourite dining spots, ranging from waterside shacks to traditional restaurants, allowing you to sample some of Boston’s freshest seafood. Indulge in a delectable lobster roll and taste a bowl of classic New England clam chowder. Depending on what’s fresh and available on the day, you might also try stuffed scallops, stuffed quahog clams, raw oysters or fried clams. Make sure to visit the historic Quincy Market, a large food hall favoured by locals and tourists alike. Adjacent is the renowned Faneuil Hall, one of Boston’s most important buildings. Conclude your tour at the Rose Kennedy Greenway, a public park brimming with beautiful green spaces and eateries, conveniently located near transport links.
