The driving time is around 2.5 hours each way; during your journey through the desert, you will listen to stories about the canyon, knowledgeable about the geology, wildlife and people that make the Canyon a natural wonder of the world. The route from the Strip to Grand Canyon West Rim including Hoover Dam, is a 266 miles return trip. Expect to spend a full day visiting and exploring Grand Canyon West and Hoover Dam
The route from the Strip to Hoover Dam is an 80 miles return trip. Allow a half day – with more time to explore inside Hoover Dam or time at Lake Mead or Boulder City
The route from the Strip to Red Rock Canyon is around 60 miles round trip. Allow a couple of hours for the Scenic Drive, extra if you plan on hiking
