About One World Observatory

One World Observatory is a panoramic observatory of the One World Trade Center, New York's iconic skyscraper as well as the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. Situated on floors 100, 101, and 102, the observatory offers 360-degree views of the city and an exciting and innovative visitor experience. Also known as the Freedom Tower, the One World Trade Center stands on the same site as the Twin Towers, which were destroyed during the infamous September 11, 2001, attack.

The skyscraper was opened to the public in 2013 and has a total height of 541 meters (1,776 feet), a number chosen to commemorate the date of the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Its observatory is extensive, and in just a few years, it has become a must-visit attraction when travelling to New York City.

Within its three dizzying levels, it houses futuristic audio-visual experiences, interactive presentations, and two venues: the One Mix bar and the One Diner restaurant, where visitors can dine or enjoy a drink with spectacular views.

The lifts that take you to the 102nd floor are an attraction in themselves. They are called SkyPod, and in just 42 seconds, they will take you to the top of one of the tallest buildings in the world.
