What to expect
Visit the largest butterfly flight aviary in Australia and walk among over 1500 tropical butterflies! You'll admire some local rainforest species such as the green and yellow Cairns Birdwing or the blue Ulysses butterfly.
You'll also visit the breeding laboratory where the caterpillars are fed by the dedicated staff and, if you are lucky enough, you may admire a butterfly emerge from its chrysalis.
Important to know
- Please note that wearing bright colours will attract the butterflies,if you want the butterflies to land on you do not wear insect repellant
- It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes and clothing
