Experience an interactive musical journey at Haus der Musik in Vienna. Explore the history of Viennese classical music in the footsteps of Mozart, Strauss, Beethoven and other musicians. Experiment with sound phenomena and interactive stations and discover the world of sounds and noises playfully - an unforgettable experience for your ears!
Music in all its diversity is presented innovative and interactively on four floors. The first floor is dedicated to the most famous orchestra in the world - the Vienna Philharmonic. It was here, in fact, that the orchestra was founded in 1842. The impressive rooms are filled with musical treasures from the historic archives of the Vienna Philharmonic.
On the second floor, an interactive journey into the world of sound awaits you, from the creation to the propagation to the processing of sounds.
The third floor is dedicated to the great masters of Viennese Classical music. Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Johann Strauss Sohn, Gustav Mahler and the protagonists of the Second Viennese School are each given a dedicated room.
On the fourth floor, you can become a virtual conductor yourself and set the beat in front of a video projection of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
