What to expect
Enjoy a day trip to visit Antwerp and Ghent with a guide and bus transport from Brussels.
On the way to Antwerp, you will stop for a few minutes at the Atomium to take a picture of an unavoidable icon of Belgian architecture.
Continue your trip di discover the charm of Antwerp and visit its majestic Scalda river and other places: the meat market, the Steen castle, the Town Hall Square, the Church of Our Lady, the Church of Saint Charles of Borromeo, the walking way of Cakes, Meir Street, etc. After finishing the visit, you will have 1.5 hours of free time, to eat something light and go around the city.
Your next destination will be the beautiful and medieval old town of Ghent. During the visit we will see: the cathedral of Saint Bavo´s known for its rich history and incredible art., the “Adoration of the Mystic Lamb”, Belfort Bell Tower, the peculiar Town Hall with Gothic and Renaissance part, the Church of St. Nicholas, the House Guild of the Masons, the Dock of the Herbs and the Grain, the Meat Market and we will finish in the majestic Castle of the Counts of Flanders.
After leaving an hour of free time to wander through its beautiful streets and charming canals you will return by bus to Brussels.
Important to know
Know in advance:
- English speakers and Spanish speakers will be in two different buses
- Tour starts from 8:30 am until 07:30 pm (approx.)
- Feel free to bring or buy your own food and drinks
- Please, arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time
- Please, wear comfortable shoes
- Children under 2 years old must travel in a car seat on the bus. Please make sure to bring their appropriate seat
