Mindo full-day tour with cacao farm experience
Discover Mindo, considered one of the most biodiverse areas in Ecuador and home to some of the most amazing species of hummingbirds and butterflies.
You'll start your tour going uphill where you can enjoy some of the most thrilling zip line experiences in 20 lines across the forest. You'll get the chance to admire this forest in its full splendor by crossing it in a cable car. On the other side of the river, you can hike (beginner level) to Mindo's best waterfalls. Feel free to bring your swimsuit and go in, the water is fresh and very enjoyable.
Later, you'll have time to have lunch (not included) in a town where many options are available, from vegan dishes to oven-baked pizzas. However, resist dessert as next you'll visit a Cocoa Farm, where you'll learn how cocoa is planted and then used for chocolate making! This experience is hosted by a socially-responsible and women-only local business. The tour ends around 4.00 pm and you'll be back in Quito around 6.30 pm.
