Your felucca captain will meet you in the morning and after a short walk, you’ll arrive at the docks where you will board the felucca boat. These boats are traditionally made of wood and have tall, white sails.
Watch seagulls fly above you and families farming their land using time-honored techniques, see donkeys wandering around the barren landscape and palm trees gently swaying in the breeze. You’ll stop for a traditional lunch on board the boat and have time to chat to the Nubian captain in order to gain a better understanding of his culture and language. You’ll head back to the docks at Aswan around mid-afternoon.

Know in advance: at least 2 people are required for this activity to take place. Infants aged up to 5 years can go for free but have to sit on their parent's lap in case there are no seats available. Please note that the minimum age for participation in this activity without a guardian is 12 years. Younger children can participate but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes with long trousers. The lunch might include zucchini, mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta followed by a cup of tea. If you have any dietary restrictions please let the local operator know before the tour.
