The Dam was build between 1960 and 1970 to protect Egypt from the Nile annual floods, and formed Lake Nasser, the world’s largest artificial lake. Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, a testimony that shows how ancient Egyptians used to cut these vast pieces of obelisks from granite quarries. A traditional motorboat will then take you to Philae Temple, built in honor of Goddess Isis; the romantic and majestic aura surrounding the temple complex on the Island of Philae has been luring pilgrims for thousands of years.
The next stop will be a Nubian Village, with its coloured houses, spices shops, and cafes overlooking the Nile, here you will taste an authentic lunch.

- Know in advance: You can choose between private and shared ticket options. The minimum number of people for the shared tour to take place is 2. Infant under 5 years are free but they have to sit on their parent's lap in case there are no seats available. Children under 12 years old can participate only with a parent or guardian. It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes with long trousers.
