From Cairo airport, you'll kickstart the tour at the Giza Necropolis. Home to the top trio of pyramids, this unforgettable site brings Egypt out of your textbooks and onto your camera rolls. Stand up close to the Great Pyramid, the largest of the three, and soak up the views against a desert backdrop. You can choose to step inside its mysterious tunnels and chambers. Listen to your guide talk about the pharaoh as you marvel at the famous statue, the Great Sphinx – ‘with the body of a lion and face of a pharaoh, it’s a symbol of great strength and wisdom,’ adds local guide Esi.

You’re in for a treat with the next stop at the Cairo Museum. With over 100 exhibition galleries inside, it’s home to the world’s biggest collection of Egyptian artefacts. Wander past statues, artefacts, and relics that’ll give you the inside scoop into the daily life and religious practices of past civilizations from thousands of years ago. It’s a showstopping way to end the day.

Please note that you'll gain access to the pyramids area, but the entrance fees to get inside the pyramids (Cheops, Mykerinos or Kefren) are not included. The tickets available are limited and must be purchased on site, so access is not guaranteed. The adult entrance fee for the Cheops Great Pyramid is around EGP 900 and EGP 450 for children under 12. The adult entrance fee for Mykerinos or Kefren is around EGP 220 and EGP 110 for children under 12.
At the museum, personal cameras without flash are allowed for an additional fee which is around EGP 50. Please note that this is subject to change without prior notice
