What to expect
Experience the Magic of the Arctic Night on an Evening Snowmobile Safari in Levi.
The evening experience includes 1-hour full driving departing from Snowmobile Park Levi. After pickup from set locations in Levi, you will be fully dressed and equipped to start the Safari. The guide will teach you the basics to drive the snowmobile safely! You will drive through snow-covered forests, swamps and frozen lakes while admiring the breathtaking landscapes that Lapland has to offer. If you're lucky and the sky is clear, you might even be able to catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis - Northern Lights - illuminating your path.
This activity is suitable for families and beginners, and everyone can enjoy it seated on a sled behind the guide's snowmobile. Please note that adults require a valid driving license to drive a snowmobile.
Important to know
Extra fees to be paid on-site:
- The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on-site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour
Know in advance:
- Keep in mind that a minimum of 2 tickets is needed per booking
- In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered
- Please note that you will share a snowmobile with another adult, for single riding select the ticket Adult - Single
- Children under the age of 14 will be seated in a sledge behind the snowmobile of the guide. It is recommended that one of the parents sits with a small child in the sledge for their safety
- A minimum height of 140cm is required to sit on a snowmobile as a passenger, children sitting on a snowmobile will be charged a full adult price
- Pickup is possible from set locations in Levi, please insert the pickup point of your preference in the dedicated field at checkout. Pick-ups will take place 30 minutes before the starting time, please make sure you are ready at that time
- The local operator will contact you via phone before the tour to confirm the pickup location and time
