What to expect
Get ready for a full day filled with unique experiences. The trip starts with a visit to a local husky farm. You get to meet the happy dogs and can even go on a husky sleigh ride. After you will visit a reindeer farm. Join the local herder to feed the cute animals and explore the farm.
Your guide will then prepare a delicious Lappish BBQ lunch for you on an open fire. Enjoy the tasty sausages and berry juice before the last part of the adventure. Listen to your guide while he explains some safety and paddling techniques and step into the canoes. Peddle around the water and look at the beautiful scenery that surrounds you.
Important to know
- A minimum of 2 people per tour is required for this tour to take place
- Children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by a paying adult
- The husky sleigh part of the tour is only available from August-May
- Please select your Rovaniemi hotel from the list provided during checkout. If your hotel is not on the list, please select an option from the list and contact the local supplier after checkout to modify your pick up point (contact details will be provided after booking)
- If your hotel is not mentioned on the list and is outside a 16km radius of Rovaniemi, you will have to pay an extra fee on site
- Vegetarian and vegan meal options are available, please contact the local operator at least 48 hours before the event
- The tour will be conducted in English, it's possible to require also a commentary for the following languages: Dutch, Finnish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese. Please check with the tour organizer for availability
