What to expect
Embark on a journey from Rovaniemi towards the stunning natural trails of Auttiköngäs Falls with this tour. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you'll receive the best information about the area's secrets and will have plenty of opportunities to take amazing pictures along the way. During the hike, you can take a break and enjoy snacks and berry juice prepared by your guide.
The main attraction is the 16-meter-high Auttiköngäs Falls, surrounded by an ancient primary forest that is home to a variety of old-forest species, such as the black woodpecker and three-toed woodpecker. The 3.5 km-long nature trail on either side of the River Auttijoki features a changing landscape and winding river that are perfect for families. You'll also have the chance to climb the steepest hills for an excellent workout, and take in stunning views.
