What to expect
Experience the most popular leisure activity among the locals in Finland, ice fishing! In this tour you will be heading out on an exciting snowmobile drive and you will drive to a frozen lake in order to try this relaxing activity.
Adults can choose to go solo and drive a snowmobile on their own, otherwise the ride can be shared between two persons. Here you will have the choice of driving or enjoying the ride from the back seat, with the possibility of changing drivers during the break.
Once you arrive to the frozen lake, your guide will show you how to drill a hole and give you fishing tips. The rest is down to luck! In ice fishing patience is the key, so while waiting for your catch of the day the guide will make a campfire and prepare a picnic snack. If you catch a fish you will also be able to cook it by the open fire to enjoy a fresh Arctic meal.
Important to know
- Minimum age of participants: 4 years
- Children can share the snowmobile with an adult if they are at least 140cm tall, otherwise they will sit in a sledge pulled by the guide's snowmobile
