What to expect
Starting with a visit Sukuta village in the south of country to experience the local daily life of the real Africa including the local fresh market where you can meet the local people in rural areas come to buy fresh food on a daily basis. Then visit a school in Yuna village, and briefly learn about the education system. After that, head to Uncle Johns local palm wine tappers to have a real taste of the palm wine and demonstration of how to make a unique and strong Gambian beverage called "fire water".
Pause for a lunch at the paradise beach in Sanyang Village before relaxing by the beach and enjoy swimming in the ocean. Followed by the Tanje village museum where to learn about the natural history and traditional culture of the Gambia. End of the tour with a visit to Tanje fishing village to see how local people gathering their day's catch also admire the beautiful scenery of the beaches and the fishing village combined.
