What to expect
If you fancy taking a look under the water – without having to get your hair wet – then this glass-bottom boat trip from Agios Nikolaos will give you the glimpse you were looking for. You'll glide out into the bay aboard a semi-submarine for a look at the sea creatures and rock formations you might not ordinarily see.
Hop aboard this specially-designed boat, which features windows beneath the surface. Kids and adults will have a great time spotting the likes of caretta caretta sea turtles and multi-coloured fish darting around the rocks. The other fascinating thing is the underwater geology, with all shapes and sizes of rocks and seabed to admire.
Information boards are available on the boat, too, so you can brush up on your knowledge of local wildlife. And once you've seen enough below deck, you can sit on the top deck and watch Agios Nikolaos come into view as we head back into the port.
