Led by an experienced driver guide, you'll have the chance to see all the highlights of this popular route, in a group with a maximum of 18 participants, so you can make the most out of your experience.
You'll first be exploring Thingvellir National Park, a historic and geological landmark and a UNESCO heritage site. It's known for being the place where the country's first-ever parliament was established, but it's also a great place to view the North Atlantic Divergent Ridge.
Your next stop will be at the Great Geysir for a spot of geothermal wonders. Feel the power from the heat in the ground, breathe the sulphuric steam from the hot water and see the spectacular eruptions performed by the geyser called Strokkur, which erupts every 5 to 10 minutes.
The Gullfoss waterfall is considered to be one of the most beautiful of Iceland’s 30,000 waterfalls. You'll make a stop there before traveling to Kerið crater, a striking crater lake filled with milky blue-green water and surrounded by stark black and deep red slopes.
You'll visit the Blue Lagoon where you'll enjoy a bathing session in the relaxing geothermal waters before heading back to Reykjavík.
