The blue waters in this narrow channel meander from the Langjökull Glacier through giant lava fields and into Thingvellir, where the Eurasian and American tectonic plates are slowly separating. - The minimum age for participation is 12 years
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian booked on the same tour

- Before the tour, participants have to sign a waiver stating that they realize that all outdoor activities carry an inherent risk

- Participants need to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim. You are unable to participate if you are pregnant, due to the small risk of cold water entering the suit
