Start the day strolling through Guliang Kawan and meet the locals. Here, you'll discover the art of making ‘canang sari' - Balinese flower offerings used in praise and prayer. Next, watch how the elderly people produce palm wine, locally known as ‘Tuak'. Proceed to a blacksmith's house to see how traditional tools are made. Then attend a farmer's workshop and learn how to plant, transplant or harvest rice.

A tasty lunch is served at a hut overlooking the rice fields. On the way back, you'll visit Penglipuran – an ancient village famous for its traditional architectural style consisting of rows of gated houses. Afterwards you'll be dropped off at your hotel.
