What to expect

Hop on this City Sightseeing bus tour through the beautiful City of Tribes and explore western Ireland with unlimited access to the tour.

Start at Eyre Square, a lovely public park where there is always something to do. Once aboard, you'll head to the Spanish Arch, two remaining arches that were part of the extension of the city wall, built in the 16th century. Don't let its name fool you, to this day there is no known relationship between the Spanish and the construction of these arches. Also at this stop is the Galway City Museum, which includes a collection of artifacts related mainly to the fishing industry-consistent with the city's traditions and a dedicated medieval section.

Climb back on board and you'll head to the beautiful Salthill Village and Promenade, where you can enjoy a nice walk by the sea or continue on board to enjoy views of the Aran Islands to the right and Galway City to the left. On your way to the Newcastle neighborhood, you can visit a must-see: Galway Cathedral. Step inside and enjoy the beautiful architecture before ending this fun tour in a city full of color and culture.
