This tour will take you admiring the monuments that symbolize old Florence with a local guide, and discovering the masterpieces that created the culture of our time.
Visit the Accedemia Gallery to admire the David as well as other great works by Michelangelo. Then, in the afternoon, stroll through the beautiful streets and squares of old town Florence. Along the way, you will admire the marvelous Duomo complex with its monuments completely covered in poly chromatic marble, such as the great dome by Brunelleschi, the Baptistery and the Campanile by Giotto. You'll then proceed to the imposing and outstanding stone building of the Church of Orsanmichele, home to Orcagna's wonderful Gothic tabernacle. Continue to the lively Mercato della Paglia, with the famous "piglet", and reach Piazza della Signoria, home to sculptural masterpieces of Loggia dei Lanzi, and the imposing Palazzo Vecchio with the crenelated tower of Arnolfo.
Finally, enjoy a unique perspective of Palazzo degli Uffizi, which opens up to the square. At this famous museum you would be able to admire countless masterpieces by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raffaello, Giotto, Cimabue, Masaccio, and many more.
