With around two hours to explore, you can stop to try Swiss cheese and chocolate in a café and enjoy wow-factor views along the Engadine Valley before returning to resort via the spectacular Maloja Pass and Chiavenna.

For the second part of your day, you'll head back to Como, an elegant town packed with churches, parks and palaces. Piazza Cavour is a grand square overlooking the lake, a short walk from many of the major highlights such as the Cathedral with its fine interior, the Villa Olmo and the lakeside gardens.
