Half-Day Etna South Side Hiking to 1900 mt from Taormina
This half-day tour includes a great outdoor excursion into the wonders of nature and an opportunity to enjoy one of the most impressive icons in Sicily.
On your way to Rifugio Sapienza, located at 1.900 meters above sea level, the guide will tell you some interesting facts about the highest active volcano on the European continent. Once you get there, you will enjoy the unique amazing view. You can choose to remain at 1.900 meters or head up to 2.900 meters by cable car and moon bus, where you'll meet an Alpine guide or a volcanologist who will take you on a guided walk around a crater at the summit.

After admiring the views from near the summit, an expert alpine guide will take you to a less exposed 2,500m, where you'll watch the sunset in a more comfortable location. Then on the way back, we'll stop at a chalet restaurant for a typical Sicilian dinner.
