Begin your day trip from Fukuoka with a visit to Kyushu's largest strawberry garden. Next, embark on a tranquil journey through the waterways of Yanagawa. Once the centre of Yanagawa Castle, this town is also known as the birthplace of poet Hakushu Kitahara. Experience a boat cruise aboard a traditional local vessel named after the native "Donko" fish. As you glide through the extensive canals of this water town, soak in its charm, particularly in spring, when peach and cherry blossoms adorn the riversides.

Conclude your day by delving into Saga's rich history and art. The ruins of Saga Castle, once the formidable Kameyama Castle, stand as a symbol of Saga City.
