What to expect

Your first stop will be at Kobe Port, a vital hub of commerce with a rich history dating back to the Meiji era. You'll admire its modern architectural design and lighting effects as your guide shows you around. Tuck into a relaxing lunch, featuring the renowned Kobe beef (not included in the price) and then head to Kitano Ijinkan Street, which showcases a collection of Western-style buildings constructed during the Meiji and Taisho eras. Marvel at the beautifully preserved historical architecture, some are used as museums or art galleries, and others showcase their original layout. Next, you'll visit the historic Starbucks Kitano Ijinkan Store.

Continue to Arima Onsen, one of Japan's three oldest hot spring towns, with a history dating back thousands of years and discover ancient inns, a wealth of shrines and temples, and a strong sense of traditio as you stroll through the charming streets.

Savor a wide variety of local cuisine in the thriving town and don't miss out on experiencing the hot springs before you head to Mount Rokko, your final stop on the tour. Gaze upon the incredible, panoramic night views of Kobe, Osaka, and Kyoto from the rotating Tenku Observation Platform. While there, visit the Rokko Garden Terrace, the Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, and the Tenran Café. Enjoy a beverage, light snacks, or even some delicious milk ice cream while you watch the sunset and the lights gradually illuminate Kobe before you finally head back to Osaka.

Meeting point:

Kindly meet at Nipponbashi Exit 2 (Namba Shinsaibashi area). The tour guide will be holding a yellow flag with the 'Gogoday' logo at the meeting point. Note that the meeting time varies throughout the year: 10:20 am (departure at 10:30 am) from Oct.16th to May 14th, winter time; 11:20 am (departure at 11:30 am) from May 15th to Oct.15th, summertime. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to departure.
