What to expect

Please select a meeting place by choosing an option in the calendar:

Option 1: meet by the BEAMS sign in front of the JR Tokyo Station Shin-Marunouchi Building, 1 Chome-5-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda City, Tokyo 100-6590, Japan. Departure time: 8.00am.

Option 2: meet at Shinjuku MODE Gakuen, 1-7-3 Nishi-Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-0023, Japan. Departure time: 8.30am.

Begin your tour at New Tsurgaya climbing the 397 steps for a picture-perfect view of the Five-storied Pagoda, Mount Fuji, and the townscape. Revel in the seasonal beauty, from cherry blossoms to snow-capped winter vistas.

Next, visit the springs of Oshino Hakkai at Fuji's base, formed from filtered snowmelt. These pools offer a serene view of sparkling water set against Mount Fuji. Enjoy a complimentary Japanese grass cake accompanied by the crisp spring water. Here, you can opt to savour Japanese delicacies: Ramen and Unagi (eel) rice (Reference price: 1500 yen per serving). In summer, Oishi Park in Kawaguchiko becomes a lavender haven, backdropped by distant Fuji, and hosts the Kawaguchiko Herb Festival with blooms from June to October. From late October to mid-November, prepare to be awed by the Maple Arch, where the snow on Mount Fuji creates a striking contrast with the fiery red maples.

End your day at the West Lake Healing Rinko Field, a thatched-roof village with vistas of Mount Fuji and the Aokigahara Forest. Since 2006, over 20 restored buildings offer diverse experiences, from dining to workshops.
