What to expect

While staying in Mexico City, don't miss the opportunity to visit one of the main colonial cities in Mexico: San Miguel de Allende, in Guanajuato, which was named the best city in the world in 2017. The colorful streets and architecture, as well as the historical richness, have turned the city into one of the most beautiful places in the world.

You will depart from your selected meeting point in Mexico City in the morning. During the route, you will see the landscape of the center of Mexico. Once you arrive at San Miguel de Allende, you will have an hour and a half guided visit to the main attractions of the city, like the symbolic parish of San Miguel Arcángel, the Municipal Garden, San Francisco Temple, Ignacio Allende's house, and the Civic Square. You will also visit the artisan's market, where you can buy traditional handicrafts, mainly made with mache paper, metals, and blown glass.

During the tour, you will also learn about the history of Mexico; outside the Municipal Palace, you will find figures of Ignacio Allende, an important character during the Independence War. After the guided visit, you will have free time to explore the streets on your own; visit the famous galleries, like the House of Culture, among others. You can eat in famous restaurants or local markets (Lunch is not included). You can also go to the viewpoint to take amazing pictures of the city.
