What to expect

Enjoy a mystical journey through contemporary Mexican culture. You will visit Teotihuacan "the City of the Gods", and the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Your first stop will be at the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, where you can appreciate how the pre-Hispanic eras, the conquest, and modern Mexico combine. Next, the trip continues to Teotihuacan, one of the first cities with a planning and future projection, and a very important religious center. Walk along the Avenue of the Dead, one of its main axes and streets. Don't miss the chance to climb the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, and contemplate the impressive view of the site. Visit the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent and the Butterfly-quetzal.

The next stop of the excursion is the Basilica of Guadalupe. Located in the foothills of the Tepeyac hill, this enclosure is the second most visited by Catholics around the world. The current basilica is a modern temple and thought to accommodate a large number of pilgrims that every year visit the temple to venerate one of the most important symbols of faith in the country. You will also admire the other buildings around the temple, such as the old basilica, the chapel of El Cerrito, the chapel of El Pocito, the former convent of the Capuchins and others, which together form the Tepeyac Religious Complex.
