The tour commences with a visit to the awe-inspiring Tule Tree, an ancient ahuehuete that has stood for over 2000 years. From Tuesday to Sunday, you won’t want to miss Mitla, a renowned town in the state of Oaxaca, celebrated for its archaeological ruins. The journey continues to Hierve el Agua, nestled in the heart of a rugged mountain range. This site is particularly striking during the dry season due to its stark aridity, but its natural beauty isn’t its only allure.

Following this, the tour proceeds to Teotitlán del Valle, a community where the locals are skilled in creating handicrafts using a pedal loom. Their wool rugs are particularly noteworthy. An artisan will provide a demonstration on how they achieve various colours using natural products such as cochineal and indigo.

En route, there will be an hour-long stop at a traditional mezcal distillery. Here, you'll gain insight into the process of crafting this famous Oaxacan drink and even have the opportunity to sample it.
