What to expect
Our day begins with a visit to the village of Ida Ougourd, one of the rural villages of the region. On Wednesdays, it’s possible to see the weekly souk, a special moment to discover the local rural culture. We then continue to Ounagha where you will have the opportunity to visit the unique winery in the region. . (Optional wine tasting). We then continue towards Had Dra. It is one of the great rural markets in the region; it is quite impressive. Its donkey parking is just amazing.
We then continue towards the palm grove of Ain Lahjar. A small paradise of freshness. In this location, a prosperous town dates from the 16th century, the remains of which are a mosque and the mausoleum of Sidi Ali Rahmoun. Surrounded by the Argan grove, a beautiful palm grove is reminiscent of pre-Saharan landscapes. These little paradise benefits from a water source, which springs from the rocks and feeds a small river. The agricultural wealth of this area is perceptible through the stone millstones that were used for traditional abandoned mills. Here you will live an unforgettable moment with the local population.
