The Oscar Schindler Factory Museum is a must-see for every history passionate. Located in the same building where the Emalia Factory was operating, the museum presents the life of Oscar Schindler and his heroic act of saving 1200 Jews from the Holocaust. Moreover, you will see there artifacts, documents and testimonies of people living in Krakow during the war and learn what kind of difficulties they had to overcome.
After the visit, go for a guided walk through the Podgorze district. Observe a part of the undestroyed wall around the ghetto, houses where thousands of displaced Jews used to live, the pharmacy "Under the Eagle" and a monument with 68 chairs in the Heroes' Square in the ghetto.
