The tour will start with a visit to the Plaça de Sant Jaume, the current seat of local and regional government. From there you’ll move on to some of the most important sites of this area, like Plaça del Rei, the historic powerhouse of Medieval Catalonia, the Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in Barcelona and the Roman walls, important remains which survive even now.
