Cordoba was once a medieval metropolis in which Christianity, Islam and Judaism seamlessly coexisted. On this guided tour, you'll see a lot – including its famous Mosque-Cathedral, its wealth of Roman remains and the impressive Roman bridge spanning the River Guadalquivir.
Wander through the maze of Moorish arches in the mosque to discover the richly decorated renaissance cathedral built in the heart of the mosque after the reconquest of Cordoba in the 14th century. Explore narrow alleys and flower-strewn patios on a guided walking tour, before some free time for lunch. Check out one of Cordoba's many authentic tapas bars – maybe trying salmorejo, the creamy local variant of gazpacho.
Stroll through the former Jewish Quarter and see the synagogue. Admire the wealth of Roman remains, and walk the famous 16-arch Roman Bridge.
