On this afternoon excursion, enjoy the ascent by different aerial cable cars to beautiful Mt Pilatus with possibilities of easy hikes and gorgeous photo opportunities. Descend by the world's steepest cogwheel railway and end the tour with a relaxing boat ride on Lake Lucerne.

Your exciting half-day adventure starts with a short coach ride to Kriens, where you take the panoramic gondolas to Fräkmüntegg. Then hop aboard the aerial cableway "Dragon Ride" and enjoy the jaw-dropping views out of the panoramic windows, specially designed to give the feeling of flying.

Once at the top of Mt Pilatus (2,132 m), venture down the Dragon's Path or go for a short hike to the summit. Later you can relax on the panorama terrace admiring magnificent views over the surrounding mountains of the Swiss Alps and the blue lakes in the valleys below.

From 20 October to 07 November 2025 the Dragon Ride will be replaced by the cogwheel train, due to maintenance. The boat ride will not be available, but you will receive a lunch voucher (CHF 20,00 per adult / CHF 10,00 per child)
From 08 November to 14 November 2025 the ascent will be done with the Dragon Ride and the descent with the cogwheel train. The boat ride will not be available, but you'll receive a lunch voucher (CHF 20.00 per adult / CHF 10.00 per child)
During the months of October and November, tour routing and means of transport, including boats and cable cars, may have to be unexpectedly amended - without prior notice, due to maintenance work
Refunds aren't possible for last-minute tour cancellations due to flight changes or unforeseen health issues. Please consider travel insurance before your trip to cover such situations
