Take a stunning day tour of the Highlands, the land of forests, mountains, rivers and glens. You'll explore a local whisky distillery and sample a warming dram of single malt whisky before heading back to Edinburgh to discover the world-famous, Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

You'll travel further south to Dunkeld where you'll check out the spectacular cathedral on the banks of the River Tay before returning to the capital past the inspiring Forth Bridges.

Once you're back in Edinburgh, you'll have some time to wander around the streets and relax before the evening performance of the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. This iconic show is a must-see for all visitors to Scotland and will give you the chance to soak up Scottish culture.

The Edinburgh Tattoo will take place at the Castlehill location at Edinburgh Castle. It's reached via a short walk along an old cobbled street and on a steep incline then there is a short walk with several steps before arriving at the steeply tiered seating area
