Walk along the classical streets of Grainger Town and admire the architecture in this part of the city. Enjoy the large open spaces while your guide tells you about the city. There will be a visit to Grainger Market (except Sundays), the indoor historic market where you'll get to see local produce and enjoy its vibrant atmosphere.
You'll get to walk through the medieval castle grounds and learn about what happened to Newcastle Castle and how the city got its name. On this tour, you'll also get to see Newcastle's Chinatown and Stadium Quarter as well as walking along the historic Quayside - spot the bridges spanning the River Tyne and learn a bit about them!
