What to expect

On this tour, you will discover some of the oldest restaurants in of the Greenwich Village, places that have been the “heart and soul” of this neighborhood for decades.

Your guide will take you tasting hand-made pasta with Chef Pietro’s, opened since 1918; delicious empanadas, tostones, rice and beans, at a Cuban restaurant. You will also visit a 1907 retail coffee shop that is still operated by the original family, a chocolate shop that's been in the Village since the 1950's, and more.

You will walk the same streets where music legends like Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix found inspiration, and where comedians like Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock still perform. The tour will also take you visiting Washington Square Park, where performers keep the offbeat traditions of Greenwich Village alive.

In the rare situation where the tour organizer is forced to cancel the event due to inclement/unsafe weather based on recommendations from the Mayor of NYC, ticket-holders can reschedule to another day (subject to availability), receive a gift card (that never expires) or can receive a full refund.
