What to expect
Take this four-day tour and discover some of the most famous national parks the world has to offer: Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and the Rocky Mountains. You'll truly get back to nature on this camping and walking tour from Salt Lake City, where there are walks and hikes available for every fitness and ability level.
Day 1 – Grand Tetons National ParkThe Grand Tetons Mountain Range rises above a scene rich with abundant wildlife, pristine lakes, and spectacular mountain peaks. Take a walk to Inspiration Point or enjoy a scenic stroll around Jenny Lake. Walks in Grand Teton are not guided, and you have the freedom to explore as you wish at your own leisure. Spot and moose or even a grizzly bear and enjoy the serenity of this remarkable place.
Camp – Grand Teton National Park.
Day 2 – Yellowstone National Park The crown jewel of the National Parks! The world’s first national park. A mountain wilderness, home to grizzly bears, wolves, and herds of buffalo and elk. Visit Old Faithful and the Grand Prismatic Pool, Yellowstone Canyon, Mammoth hot springs. Explore with your expert Guide.
Camp – Yellowstone National Park.
Day 3 – Yellowstone National Park Continue to discover Yellowstone with your guide, exploring more spectacular volcanic features.
Camp -Yellowstone National Park.
Day 4 – Yellowstone National Park and Rocky Mountains optional visit to the Yellowstone Grizzly Bear and Wolf Discovery Center this morning. This afternoon, head back to Salt Lake City approx 4pm.
Important to know
Know in advance:
- Please bring comfortable shoes, a sun hat, a lightweight jacket, warm clothing for the evenings and a waterproof jacket
- Please bring travel pillow, flashlight and towel
- Please bring a sleeping bag, or if you do not own one, you may rent one from us, or buy one locally
- If you are a solo traveler you will share a tent with a partner of the same gender
- This is a small group tour with a maximum of 14 guests per tour
