This audio guide will take you to some of the most interesting exhibits of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History spanning the period from colonial times to the present days.
Since 1964, the Museum has been collecting and exhibiting the heritage of the country in Behring Center on the National Mall in Washington D.C.
Start the tour from the first floor to see the wonders of American technology and engineering such as the magnificent John Bull locomotive. On the second floor, you will see, touch and hear the story of the original Star Spangled Banner Flag. The third floor will take you to the military and political history of the United States where you will see the Gunboat Philadelphia and the famous exhibit of the First Ladies of America. Then, you will hear the stories related to entertainment and sports, with such artifacts as the car from Disneyland's Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride. Finish the tour exploring the outdoor sculptures or at the food court of the lower level.
Keep in mind that this museum has a free admission. By buying this audio tour, you don’t pay for your entry. However, you do get an opportunity to explore the beauty of the museum at your own pace, following the carefully planned route, seeing the best the museum has to offer, and listening to amazing stories.
