Leeuwarden walking audio tour, discover the dark side of the city
The nightly spirits of Leeuwarden tour shows a new perspective of the dark side of Leeuwarden. You will hear stories about the supernatural at Keunstwork and ghosts living in the city center. Having different themes on the tour, it provides a unique experience.
Your tour will start at the old military hospital, where you will listen to the ghost of the soldier talking about the paranormal activity in this building. Then you will visit Bredeplaats, where you will learn the story of the Witch House.
You will continue your tour at the Zuupsteeg. Zuupsteeg can be translated into drowning alley or drunk alley. Both translations might be true because there are plenty of drownings that happened of possibly drunk men wandering about in this alley, during the early days.
Your tour will end after listening about the Cursed Mill. It is one of the many bakeries in Leeuwarden, but with a unique ghost story.
The nightly spirits come to life during this tour and will give you a new view of the ins and outs of the city. After this tour, you will never walk through Leeuwarden the same way again!
