Head south, to the civic and historical center of Plaza de Mayo, The Metropolitan Cathedral, and The Cabildo. Explore the old neighborhood of San Telmo followed by La Boca, where the first Italian immigrants arrived in the second half of the 19th century. Then, it's time to experience Retiro, and Palermo, a residential area surrounded by French-style parks.
